Do you have a love of everything having its place and are looking for a way to serve local communities? Consider the Geauga County Public Library as a Shelver! We are looking for people who work well in environments where they are active through their shift.
Shelvers keep the library and its materials in proper order by accurately sorting, shelving, and shelf-reading of library materials.
They maintain the general neat appearance of the library and its collections.
This position is also responsible for set up of our community meeting rooms, shoveling and salting snowy walkways, filling patron holds, and other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
* Experience with technology: basic computer skills (Office 365).
* Ability to organize alphabetically and numerically.
* Excellent customer service with ability to positively interact with the public and coworkers.
* Ability to lift (up to 40 pounds), bend and push book carts loaded with library materials with or without reasonable accommodation.
* Successful completion of a background check.
